Education to Provide Books to boost learning in Math’s and English

Tokelau Education Department will supply work books for student’s year three to year eight in the islands to help boost learning in schools.
The work books are only in two subjects, Math’s and English. The information within the work books is identical to the revise curriculum under the Tokelau Education curriculum, according to the Curriculum Advisor, Elaine Lameta.
“All these (school work books) are to support the revised curriculum – specifically year three to year eight”.
“Further books in others subjects will be supplied when we find the suitable ones for our revised curriculum”.
The schools have two years’ worth of supply with first amount packed and ready to be shipped and should be in schools by the end of the month.
