Nukunonu begin building the canoe for the warriors

The Nukunonu Climate Warriors are now in the process of building its canoe at part of the historic jouney that will be launched in Australia next year.
The canoe building is part of the Stand Up for the Pacific Campaign for the purpose of communicating their message against the fight against climate change.
Ioane Nui Tumua will be assisting in carving the canoe.
Countries that are part of the campaign include: Papua New Guinea, Samoa, American Samoa, Tonga, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Tokelau, Niue, Cook Islands, Federated Sates of Micronesia, Marshall Islands, Palau, Tuvalu, Nauru, Kiribati and Fiji.
Tokelau canoe has a unique style in the pacific.
